One idea, every platform
An app shouldn't be good on one device and an afterthought everywhere else. We plan for desktop, mobile and web from the first sketch, so nothing arrives as a compromised port.
About
Plutino Labs is a small independent studio. We build applications that are pleasant to use, honest about what they do, and made to keep working long after launch day, across every platform our users actually reach for.
A plutino is a body in the Kuiper Belt locked in a 2:3 orbital resonance with Neptune. It makes two laps of the Sun for every three of Neptune's. Pluto is the largest and the one they're all named after.
It's an object that sits out past the edge of the tidy part of the solar system, keeps perfect time anyway, and rewarded a nine-year journey with a view nobody expected. That felt like a reasonable thing to name a software company after.
An app shouldn't be good on one device and an afterthought everywhere else. We plan for desktop, mobile and web from the first sketch, so nothing arrives as a compromised port.
Every screen earns its place. We would rather ship a smaller app that does one thing precisely than a crowded one that does nine things approximately.
We collect what an app needs to function and nothing else. No selling data, no advertising networks, no quiet tracking. It's all written down on our privacy page.
We're always glad to hear from people with an interesting problem, or from anyone using one of our apps who thinks it could be better.
